Hasmukh P. (H.P.) Rama, CHA
Chairman of the Board / Chief Executive Officer

H.P. is the Founder of JHM Enterprises. He founded the business in 1973. H.P. obtained his MBA from Xavier University and now concentrates on strategic planning, finance and banking, and acquisitions and sales. The American Hotel and Motel Association has designated H.P. Rama as a Certified Hotel Administrator.

Additionally, many honors have been awarded to H.P. including:

Jayanti P. (J.P.) Rama, CHA
President

J.P. joined the family business in 1974 and currently oversees the general affairs of JHM Hotels. As a specialist in operations and purchasing, he is an expert in efficient delivery of a consistent lodging product. J.P. coordinates design and interiors for acquisitions and new development. He has received a designation as a Certified Hotel Administrator from the American Hotel and Motel Association.

Honors awarded to JP include:

Manhar P. (M.P.) Rama, CHA
Chief Operating Officer

M.P. is responsible for profitability, overall property management, and maintaining the company standards of excellence. He is also responsible for construction management and the opening of new hotels.

M.P. was born in Africa, raised in India, and came to the US in 1973. M.P. graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with honors. Even though he graduated with a Masters Degree in Engineering M.P. was interested in the lodging industry.

Raman P. (R.P.) Rama, CHA
Vice President - Technology & Telecommunications

R.P. is responsible for managing the Information Technology infrastructure and planning, as well as establishing the Company’s Management Information System and Technology initiatives. R.P. has been able to take the company into the information technology revolution and stays current with the trends within this industry and implementing these technologies at our resource center and throughout our properties. The IT department has been able to increase efficiencies in all departments with automation in reporting and electronic document management. JHM Hotels uses a business intelligence system that assists all departments in looking at the figures on daily basis with the web based portal eliminating paper copies. Keeping the company's growth pattern he has established a system where the accounts payables are processed by their staff members in India. At JHM Technology initiatives are at the forefront in all departments and all areas of operations and corporate management.

R.P. has a Baccalaureate Degree in Business and Accounting. CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator) Designation by The Educational Institute of American Hotel & Lodging Association. With a BS in Hospitality Management from Johnson & Wales University, and a Masters of Management in Hospitality from Cornell University, D.J. has worked for Holiday Inn Worldwide, Interstate Hotels, and the Marriott Corporation on his way to his present position with JHM Hotels.

Vinay M. Rama
Vice President of Business Development

As the Managing Director of JHM International, Vinay is responsible for identifying and executing new business opportunities in markets outside of the United States. Given his passion for emerging markets, currently he is spearheading our efforts in India, a country within which JHM is committed on having an increased presence. Most recently, Vinay worked for Hodges Ward Elliott, a hotel brokerage/investment banking firm, where he worked as a Vice President under Mark Elliott who has consistently been labeled as the top performing hotel broker the United States. Just during the time Vinay spent there, the Elliott team was responsible for of over $3.4 billion in hotel transactions including the landmark 89-hotel, $1.7 billion White Lodging sale to RLJ Development in early 2006. Much his team's success was based on their in-depth understanding of the hotel industry and its associated capital markets.
